Getting Unplugged

Just over 2 weeks have passed since Scott Colby’s Unplugged Retreat in beautiful Estes Park, Colorado and believe it or not I am just plugging back in.

It’s been a long time since I’ve completely unplugged which seems a little ridiculous considering I grew up in a world without Google, email and social media.

During our Unplugged Weekend we disconnected entirely. No tv, no cell phones, no computers, no itunes, no messages, no GPS, no notifications. Nada. For almost 72 hours straight.

Two weeks ago I was suffering from the worst migraine of my life and all I wanted to do was find relief. Unfortunately, Urgent Care couldn’t see me because there was a problem with my insurance card. For the next two hours I proceeded to wait on the phone with my insurance company just to talk to a live person. Little did I know, Get Human could have saved me a BIG headache. Literally!
